The Citrus Blast! shampoo bars contain an incredibly fresh blend of lemon, orange sweet, lime, grapefruit, benzoin and patchouli essential oils. Lemon is a balancing essential oil which may offer assistance in balancing the excess sebum levels being excreted from the scalp that result in greasy hair. Sebum is the natural oily, waxy substance produced by our skin. Sweet orange essential oil moisturises dry and brittle strands of hair, helping cleanse and repair hair naturally while reducing and preventing dandruff. Lime essential oil is included as it assists in the restoration of healthy hair, while enhancing your hair’s natural shine. Benzoin is an essential oil that is extracted from resin of the Styrax Benzoin tree. It is commonly used in perfumery as a fixative for the middle and top notes. In this application, it assists in anchoring the volatile citrus aromatic molecules in the product for a longer lasting, more enjoyable fragrance. For the same reason, patchouli essential oil is included in the bars.
Benzoin essential oil is known for its mild antiseptic properties and may assist in the healing of cuts wounds and burns, while keeping them clean.
Putting them all together results in a fruity, fresh shampoo bar that your hair and scalp will love!

Ingredients:

Saponified coconut oil, blend of essential oils: sweet orange (citrus sinensis), lime (citrus aurantifolia), lemon (citrus limon), grapefruit (citrus paradisi), benzoin (styrax benzoin) and patchouli (pogostemon patchouli), orange mica.
Directions for use:

Saturate your hair and the shampoo bar. Rub the shampoo bar in circular motions on your head under gently running water for a few seconds. Rub the bar down the length of your hair and set down to dry. Massage your head until it has developed a creamy lather and rinse thoroughly. For best results, follow with your favourite Eco Earth Bar Conditioner Bar.
Handy Tip:

Your shampoo bar will last longer when air dried properly after each use.

    I love the fresh smell of this shampoo bar. I was lucky enough to be able to compare all the shampoo bars in person and this was my favourite by far! It also seriously lasts. I bought one of these in grade 11 from a local market and took it with me to university. For the price, that is insane value for money. When it eventually ran out, I swapped to regular supermarket shampoo (didn’t smell nearly as good though). Flash forward a year or two, and recently I was looking at old pictures of myself and I wondered “how do I get my hair looking that good again?”. I racked my brain trying to remember what products I was using at the time, and remembered those shampoo and conditioner bars I tried out from the market stall, which had since moved on. Intense internet searching ensued to track down the seller until I was finally able to find this website, under a new name from the market stall. I’m so happy to have finally found this, I there is no regular shampoo who’s smell, affect, and cost I like more!
    I recommend this with the orange and cinnamon conditioner bar.
